Christianity Explored
There is an ongoing program of Christian Basics where anyone can discover (or importantly re-discover!) the central theme of the Gospel of Jesus.
It is usually held in small groups and in a very modern context.
Highly recommended! One hour sessions.

Men’s Breakfast
Meeting each 1st Friday in the month (except July, August and September). Next meeting is in October.
A good breakfast in a well known local restaurant, good conversation and often a visiting speaker. Visitors especially welcome!
Ladies Lunch
Meeting each 1st Friday in the month (except July, August and September). Next meeting is in October.
A very pleasant atmosphere in a range of local quality restaurants.

Thursday Pool Afternoon
Not swimming! The game you play with a cue.
The venue of choice is ‘The Corner Pocket’ in Kapparis.
Come and see if you are any good… the regulars are not all that!

Music Making
Opportunities exist for members to participate in enhancing Sunday Worship through music.
We are always on the lookout for musicians willing to play on Sunday and/or on other occasions.
Occasionally, a group of singers known as ‘The Gate House Singers’ takes part in Church worship, usually on festival days. (Anthems and the like). We have no choir, however at Christmas time (and perhaps on other occasions in the future) we come together to celebrate in seasonal song.
Coffee Morning
Come yourself and bring a friend, 10th July at the home of John and Audrey Bridge.
Home Visiting
Our Chaplain, Michael, and his wife Jacqueline make regular and special visits to members homes for fellowship and if appropriate, prayer. Home Communions can be arranged.
Social Events
6th July: 'Summer Bar-B-Q' at No 39.
27th July: Picnic and boat trip.
Forthcoming events
Another 7 sessions of 'Christianity Explored' will start in the latter part of August.
4th October : Harvest Supper and Celebration.
21st December: Annual Carol Service.
